Support calves during digestive disturbances
During the first days of calves life, we can put in place actions that will have long-term benefits for them. Indeed, arriving in a new environment, their immune and digestive systems are still novice. This is why disturbances can be numerous in the first days of life, and the main risk is diarrhoea.
The most important consequence is dehydration because with a weakened digestive system, calves will not be able to absorb water, electrolytes and nutrients they need. This will lead, if not taken into account, to other pathologies. The idea is to think about calves immediate needs and to help them with their future needs.
